Ubuntu PPA Repository

I have a Personal Package Archive for Ubuntu, so that I can maintain some packages for the release I am using.

Some easy backports from Debian unstable or Ubuntu development branch and some fixed packages for hardware I have or configurations I use. Here you may find more detailed descriptions.

Disclaimer: use this at your own risk, it has tried to kill before.

This is what you have to add to your sources.list for gutsy, but I recommend to browse it here and install only the packages you need:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/andrearatto/ubuntu gutsy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/andrearatto/ubuntu gutsy main

Some packages currently in the repo:

  • kvm and kvm-source. Backport from Debian, almost tracking the latest release.
  • libpam-encfs. Backport to fix the problem with sudo.
  • hal. Compiled with dell backlight support.
  • libccid. Patched for Oz7772.
  • mixxx. Backport of 1.6_beta1
